    The Sketchies Universe

    Come visit the universe of the Sketchies, where everything is poorly rendered, and anything could sprout a face and speak to you at any moment! Be aware that you may well never be the same. Maybe for the better. But I wouldn't count on it.

    These hand drawn comics have the sketchy, stick figure style cartoony feel to ratchet up their strange humor a notch or two. They're each available as a design on many different t-shirt styles.     Daddy and Ava Draw

    Pairing the stylings of the Sketchies Universe with the skills of a 2 year old... As an artist with a great love for the simplest forms of art, I love to encourage my daughter in all things artistic. She has a great love for Play-Doh and coloring. The drawings featured here are all done by us with good old crayons on paper, and then scanned.

    These drawings are originally featured on the blog I keep for this specific purpose. Every penny of profit made from every sale of every product with a "Daddy and Ava Draw" design is going to be socked into Ava's college fund. Get that - my toddler is working for her college money! In a manner of speaking...

It's summertime, the weather's getting nice... but the economy SUCKS!

Are you feelin' it?



Sad monkey's feeling it. He's out of work, like so many others, and is in desperate need to feed himself and his family. He only has so many skills... So why not use them as he can? Holding his cardboard sign that says "will throw poop for bananas", standing on the side of the road, poor Sad Monkey is down on his luck.



What more needs to be said? These gas prices suck! They may not be as bad as last year yet, but the fact remains - who wants to pay this much just to drive a car from one place to the other?



It's summer, and that means it's time to break out the grill! Let's cook up some burgers, hot dogs, chicken, shish kabobs, steak, bratwurst, pork chops, ribs, meat meat meat MEAT!!! It's meat time, baby!



The days are getting longer, the sun's up and shining, it's getting HOT out, and that's the wrong time for vampire popsicles to be outside of their chest freezer coffin. If he doesn't get in quick, it'll be all over...

    I do plenty of t-shirt designing on my own, but there are absolutely tons of tee designs out there that are fantastic and worth pointing out. Actually, many to most of them leave me saying/thinking "What??? Why didn't I think of that?!?" as well as knowing in many cases I couldn't pull them off even if I wanted to.

    Nothing wrong with helping out fellow starving artists, right? Especially those with more talent than me?
